The Carpet & FabriCare Institute (CFI) is doing its Give Back Event at the Ronald McDonald House in Palo Alto on May 13,2023. This event is where the CFI members go in and clean all the carpets, upholstery, area rugs, hard surface flooring including the tile and grout in the two houses. It’s a great feeling to clean the houses for all the sick kids and families who are there every day. There is a whole lot of different types of materials and textiles to clean from high end to low end. This house gets donated material and textiles from designers in the area.

The CFI is opening it up to outside the membership this year so if you want to come help or if your new in the industry you can shadow along an experience member to learn. There will be cleaning done with truck mounts, portables, low moisture machines and a lot of upholstery. The event will start at 8:00 am and should be done around noon. The Ronald McDonald House will provide lunch afterwards from everyone there.
