The Southern California CFI Chapter had a meeting on Saturday, December 10, 2018, at Mark Goodman’s FibermarkMTC Facilities in Santa Monica, California. Probably 10 companies were represented, as well as Matt Cole from Cole’s Carpet Cleaning in Hayward, California.
Our guests were STEVE JOHNSON, a dedicated and respected individual in our industry for over 30 years, and BEVERLY STONE of BJS Insurance Services.
Prior to working for Bridgewater, Steve Johnson ran his own high-end residential cleaning business in Salt Lake City, UT. Steve has been an IICRC instructor for Bridgewater Systems and has written, developed, and taught countless other classes, seminars, and workshops covering nearly every aspect of the industry from cleaning and restoration to marketing and management courses.
Currently, Steve manages all of Bridgewater Company’s Wholesale Business and is the Director of Corporate Accounts for Aramsco / Interlink Supply. Every day he consults with new and existing businesses on setting up a system for success. Steve is heavily involved in Bridgewater’s ongoing R&D efforts and developmental programs. His knowledge and enthusiasm in the industry are very evident in the classes he teaches.
Beverly Stone and her associate spoke about the $50,000 Disability Insurance policy soon to be offered by CFI to all of their members. Beverly explained how disability works, who is eligible if you can get more than the $50,000, and other topics on insurance.
